Bea Alonzo is living life at her own pace. Unfortunately, some netizens couldn't help but pry about her plans of marrying and having kids. On Instagram Stories, the 34-year-old actress responded to a series of questions from her followers last Tuesday, January 25.
One netizen asked: "You're not getting any younger po, when will you get married and have kids like [Marian Rivera], [Anne Curtis], [Jennylyn Mercado], etc."
"May taxi?! hahahaha," she jokingly replied. Bea went on to explain that getting married isn't a "race." She said, "Hindi ako nagmamadali. I'd like to take my time. It's not a race, after all. I believe we all have our own timeline."
In another post, Bea answered a question about her boyfriend, actor Dominic Roque: "What do you like about Dom the most?" "The way he loves me. The way he takes care of me. Sarap pala ng inaalagaan," she shared.
Bea and Dom went IG official in August 2021. In an interview for GMA-7's The Boobay and Tekla Show, the actress expressed how happy she is with her love life. In fact, she said that Dom is "husband material" but she added that it's still too early for them to settle down. According to Bea, they're still "getting to know each other on a deeper level."
"Para sa'kin kasi, ayokong magpa-pressure just because nagkaka-edad ka na at lahat ng kaibigan mo nagpapakasal na. May kanya-kanya tayong timeline," she explained—and we couldn't agree more!
