It's the same exact one from "Crash Landing On You" and "Goblin"!

K-dramas are chock full of product placements and usually, they're Korean food brands. From iced coffee to egg drop sandwiches, there has got to be a featured food in a certain episode, and admit it or not, you're also dying to try them. Worry no more, because one Korean fried chicken restaurant chain just opened in Manila and you've seen it in your fave series like Crash Landing On You, The King: Eternal Monarch, and Goblin!

bb.q Chicken, which stands for "best of the best quality," just opened their newest branch on the second floor of Central Square in Bonifacio Global City. The resto belongs to the Genesis BBQ Group in South Korea (they opened their first store in 1995—that's 27 years of serving flavor from the heart of Seoul!) and its franchise in the Philippines is brought by LCS Group Korea.

While there are a lot of Korean fried chicken restaurants mushrooming in the Metro, bb.q Chicken is a must-try for its traditional frying method which uses pure olive oil. The chicken is "hand brushed, hand-battered, and fried at lower temperatures for longer periods of time" to achieve that golden color and crispy texture. Aside from the crunch, you'll also love the chicken meat that is well-seasoned. Yum!

Love drenching your chicken with sauce or coating it with cheese? bb.q Chicken also offers flavored options such as Hot Spicy Secret Chicken and Cheesling Chicken! Each plate is served with pickled radish called chicken mu—a staple banchan or Korean side dish—as a palate cleanser.

And what better way to enjoy your Korean fried chicken experience than with the right drink? Channel your inner K-drama character and order chimaek (in Korean, "chikin" translates to chicken and "maekju" means beer), a food pairing popularized by My Love From The Star.

Not into fried food? bb.q Chicken's menu has other Korean dishes that you can try! This includes three kinds of tteokbokki (savory rice cakes), sundubu jjigae (Korean tofu stew—you've seen this in Itaewon Class), bibimbap, and  pasta. To wash them down, you can order from their extensive list of drinks.
