That said, it's worth noting how one unassuming host of the night unexpectedly stole the scene with his ensemble, which is comprised of a Barong Tagalog teamed with what looked like a pair of—gasp!—boxer shorts.
It was Slay Model Management's founder and director, Cecilio “Cece” Asuncion, who was caught seemingly wearing his undergarments while fulfilling his judge duties at the prestigious pageant. But upon closer inspection, his striped “boxers” aren’t boxers at all but a pair of custom made shorts by renowned fashion designer Avel Bacudio. He paired it with knee-high socks and Dr. Martens burgundy leather boots.

However, Cece remains unbothered by the negativity and shared a short message on his IG story about how he feels regarding his polarizing attire. "Sa mga bumabatikos sa pagpili ko ng suot, sana magsumikap kayo at balang araw ma-invite rin kayo mag judge," he wrote.
