Try not to drool, audiophiles.

While Danish tech brand Bang & Olufsen has a wide variety of electronics, they're best known for its high-quality audio devices. If you’ve ever asked a notoriously particular audiophile to recommend you reliable and top-notch audio devices, the brand's various speakers, headphones, and earbuds would likely make the top of the list. Today, July 29, they just added an incredible new gadget to their ever-growing line of elite sound equipment: Introducing the Beoplay EQ, Bang & Olufsen's first-ever noise-cancelling wireless earbuds.

True to Bang & Olufsen's reputation for top-tier construction, these gorgeous wireless earbuds sport an oh-so sleek design, combining pristine matte and metallic textures for an audio accessory that exudes luxury. The device promises powerful and authentic sound output with a 6.8 mm electro-dynamic that provides crisp and balanced audio that sounds exactly the way a producer or sound engineer would have intended. The impressive sound quality is improved by the in-ear fit—the device comes with four ear plug sizes, so you can adjust the buds accordingly—and of course, adaptive noice-cancellation.

Though Bang & Olufsen has released wireless earbuds in the past like the popular Beoplay E8, this is the first time the brand has built their Bluetooth-powered earbuds with the ability to reduce ambient noise. They're also built with four microphones inside to monitor your surroundings and automatically adjust the noise-cancelling levels as needed (hence the word "adaptive"). For those of you who are extra nitpicky with your sound settings, you can even fine-tune your audio levels through Bang & Olufsen’s Beosonic app (available on the App Store and Google Play Store).

As far as battery life—one of the biggest deal breakers when it comes to choosing wireless sound devices—the Beoplay EQ promises up to 6.5 hours on a full battery with two extra charges on the case. Though nothing groundbreaking compared to similar audio accessories in this price range, it’s a fair bit of power for a device that provides active noise-cancellation, a notoriously battery-draining feature.
