Avilon Zoo, the largest zoological institution in the Philippines, has sent out a call for help amid the COVID-19 slump. Located in the province of Rizal, the zoo manages its best to maintain the welfare of their animals but the current ECQ has made the job all the more challenging.
That said, they’re currently asking for financial aid to be able to continue providing proper care and veterinary services for their wildlife.
To lend a hand from the comfort of your home, in a Facebook post last May 9, 2020, Avilon Zoo announced selling admission tickets, which those interested to help may purchase online.
“Online admission tickets do not expire and can be used on any date as soon as quarantine restrictions are lifted,” their FB post assured. “Avail as much as you can and help us continue to provide for our animals and the people taking care of them. We greatly appreciate your kind support!”
All proceeds from advanced ticket sales will go directly to the Avalon Wildlife Conservation Fund.
