As one of her generation's it girls, Atasha Muhlach is known for her chic style, captivating beauty, and her prominent showbiz lineage as the daughter of two iconic actors, Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez. But beneath the glitz and glamor lies a down-to-earth side of Atasha that many might not be aware of—a side that was cultivated during her time studying in the United Kingdom.
During her stay abroad, she made a conscious decision to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle, not because it was “trendy,” but because of the relatable reason that meat was exorbitantly expensive.

"Now, I have money, I can go out and have lunch or dinner with my friends. [But] when I was in the UK, I told my friends, like people here at home, the story that I went vegetarian for a year because mahal yung meat,” she shares in a recent interview.
“It's super expensive, so I was like, okay, I'm gonna go vegetarian. Because the vegetables can last me one whole week for the worth of one chicken breast. I was like, okay, this works."
Growing up in a celebrity household could have easily resulted in a life of privilege and indulgence. However, Atasha's upbringing was quite the opposite. She shared, “[My parents] never spoiled us, and we’re so happy for that because it made us really appreciate the simple things in life."
It’s evident that she’s gracefully following her parents' footsteps while forging her path in showbiz! In July this year, Atasha officially joined the entertainment industry after signing with Viva Artists Agency, with her first single set to be released soon. She also achieved an impressive milestone in August when she graduated from college with flying colors.
Way to go, Atasha!
