Atasha Muhlach is finally back in the Philippines after finishing her college degree in London. Now, the young star is free to pursue her showbiz dreams, and so far, she’s making her early steps into the field as the newest host of the noontime show E.A.T.
“It's a fun experience and I'm really happy that people are embracing me now. I hope they continue to embrace me, and I just really want to learn more,” the young host told the media during the launch event of her newest endorsement.
ICYDK, Atasha is the daughter of the king of romance-drama Aga Muhlach and former Miss Universe Philippines Charlene Gonzalez. And though she would rather forge her own path in the showbiz industry, many still can’t help but wonder if she has plans on following her mom’s footsteps.
When asked during the event if she had any plans on entering pageantry, Atasha answered, “I'm not gonna close my doors. I’m learning this process of being an artista first. I want to develop those skills, but we’ll see where it goes.”
The new TV host also expressed her respect for her mother especially in her own field. "I really look up to my mother, she’s someone that I really praise," she said. "But as for [beauty pageants], I don’t know yet. We’ll see."
During Atasha’s cover shoot with Preview back in February, we also asked her the same question to which she replied that she’s “always open to any opportunities.” However, she clarifies that she’s currently focused on her current stint as a multi-faceted artist.
"I just need to master my craft now, [with] hosting and eventually acting [and] singing," she said. Whatever route Atasha goes on, we'll surely support her!
