Atasha Muhlach is officially a debutante! The 21-year-old made her way to the prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris, but not without her supportive family cheering her on.
The Muhlachs’ unica hija represented the Philippines in the invite-only ball, which has previously witnessed daughters of Hollywood icons and royalty debut into high society, including the likes of Emily in Paris actress Lily Collins, Princess Diana’s niece Kitty Spencer, and several women of the Zobel clan.
This year’s iteration was held on November 26 at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris, with 20 debutantes from across the globe handpicked by founder Ophélie Renouard. Alongside Atasha were family members Aga Muhlach, Charlene Gonzalez, and Andres, who escorted her twin sister to the event as her cavalier.
Atasha and her family shared several clips of the ball’s rehearsals, where the debutante was spotted decked out in a blazer-and-trouser set from Filipino designer Carl Jan Cruz, as she and dad Aga practiced their dancing.
For the actual festivities, debutante mom Charlene was dressed to the nines herself in a modern Filipino Pañuelo gown by Rajo Laurel, while Atasha was a shimmering sight in a glitzy creation from British designer Sabina Bilenko.
Spotted in attendance was no other than Paris regular Heart Evangelista, who came out to support Atasha and the Muhlach family in a Giambattista Valli polka-dotted floor-length number.
Atasha previously announced her participation in the ball last September, expressing that she was “happy and grateful” for the opportunity, and highlighted that the event will raise funds for cardiology research in Paris’ Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital.
