Everyone's two favorite Taylors, Anya Taylor-Joy and Taylor Swift, are reportedly joining forces for a movie, and it's going to be a star-studded one!
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Taylor Swift will be making her return on the big screen in a film by Joy director David O. Russell. Alongside the pop sensation will be Hollywood heavyweights such as Margot Robbie, Christian Bale, Rami Malek, Chris Rock, Mike Myers, and Robert De Niro. It'll also star Michael Shannon, Zoe Saldana, John David Washington, Timothy Oliphant, and of course, Anya Taylor-Joy!
Reports from Collider and Showbiz411 claim that it will be period piece set during the Great Depression. The project is also confirmed to be under 20th Century Studios, the production giant that gave us Titanic, Avatar, and Deadpool. However, the movie's release date, title, and plot are being securely kept under wraps, so that's something to keep our eyes peeled for!
This will be Taylor Swift's first movie after playing Bombalurina in Cats in 2019. Meanwhile, its only one of Anya Taylor-Joy's upcoming projects after Emma., which was released in early 2020.
