The sun has come out and the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, Annie, is finally back in Manila! Resorts World Manila, together with Full House Theater Company, welcomes back onstage the heartwarming story of a bright and cheerful orphan girl on the search of her long-lost parents.

Stepping up to the plate as the new Annie (which was first portrayed by no less than Lea Salonga back in 1980) are two equally talented and promising young girls, Isabeli Araneta Elizalde and Krystal Brimner, joined by the award-winning actor Michael De Mesa as the wealthy Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks and the first lady of Philippine theater, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, as Ms. Agatha Hannigan.

In celebration of Annie’s Gala Night, fans of the beloved classic flocked to RWM’s Newport Performing Arts Theater last Friday, October 7. Some of the stylish guests even traveled back in time with their ‘30s-inspired outfits.
