Could there even be a fangirl luckier than Anne Curtis? The 35-year-old actress, who has previously made headlines for having met her favorite Korean actors in the flesh (Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum included!), has just had another close and personal encounter with a big-ticket celebrity. This time around, she’s made fellow fans green with envy by revealing her one-on-one interview with none other than Dua Lipa!
Yup, you read that right! The actress took to Instagram to announce the exciting news, sharing a nine-minute video clip featuring her exclusive interview with the multi-awarded singer. “I’M LEVITATING,” Anne captions her post, referencing a song by the British pop star. “Can’t believe this happened! Was given the chance to speak to @dualipa about her album Future Nostalgia and her upcoming virtual concert Studio 2054.”
She adds, “I was so nervous. As you all probably know, I’m a huge fan. Ahhh. She was so kind and sweet.”
Anne, who was tapped by Warner Music Philippines to interview the Don’t Start Now hitmaker, had a lengthy chat with the singer while discussing several topics, including what it’s like to release a new album during the COVID-19 pandemic, her upcoming virtual concert, and potential collaboration with international artists in the near future.
Admittedly a superfan of Dua, Anne couldn’t help but look adorably giddy during the entire interview, struggling to hide her kilig face. (Can’t blame her, though!) Watch the video below:
Mind you, this wasn’t the first time Anne had a noteworthy fangirl moment with Dua. Back in February 2019, the actress received a filmed birthday greeting from her favorite singer, which was aired on the ABS-CBN noontime program It’s Showtime.
