We’ve been keeping an eye on Heart Evangelista’s stylish New York City trip for the past week, and it’s safe to say her foray into the Big Apple was nothing short of eventful. Tiffany & Co.
A true fashion girl, Heart couldn’t let a trip to NYC pass without recreating that iconic Audrey Hepburn scene from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Decked in a tailored LBD, lace gloves, and oversized sunglasses, Heart embodied Holly Golightly from head to toe, while munching on a sandwich and sipping her Nescafe Gold right outside a Tiffany & Co. store.
As per the luxury jewelry brand’s website, it has seven stores situated around New York. In particular, the Tiffany & Co. flagship store, where Breakfast at Tiffany’s was filmed, is a 10-story giant located in Midtown Manhattan, Fifth Avenue. The establishment went under renovation in 2019 for a “holistic transformation,” and is set to unveil its reconstructed spaces in 2022.
The Pierre New York
Yet another stunning gem within the luxurious Fifth Avenue district is The Pierre, A Taj Hotel. As per her IG, it seems Heart made a home of the famous, five-star landmark during her trip, appetizing breakfast included.
The Pierre, built in 1930, is known as a “quintessential monument to New York City grandeur.” Boasting of opulent interiors, it’s often booked for “ultra-chic” social events and runway fashion shows. If we’re talking accommodations though, the hotel’s most expensive room is a high-ceiling retreat that spans 550 square feet, and comes with a gorgeous view of Central Park.
Parrish Art Museum
In line with her actual Vogue-related business in New York, Heart stopped over at the Parrish Art Museum. This cultural tourist spot was founded in 1898, and is located at Water Mill, NYC. It hosts at least 15 temporary exhibitions a year, and is also open to talks, music programs, and film showings.
Brooklyn Bridge Park
From concrete streets, to sprawling greenery, Heart unsurprisingly turned the Big Apple into her own personal runway. In one of her many OOTD posts, the artist, clad in a neon green button slit dress, struck a pose by the Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Empire Fulton Ferry Lawn, backgrounded by the prominent landmark itself.
Who doesn’t know Central Park? Considered a historic national landscape in the city, this urban ground is best known in pop culture as the filming site for numerous Hollywood movies, including 27 Dresses, Sex and the City, The Devil Wears Prada, 13 Going on 30, and even The Avengers. Hence, it’s no wonder Heart just had to add Central Park to her travel itinerary. As shared on IG, she took a snap of her Hermes bag on one of the park’s adopted benches.
Fun fact: In pursuit of maintaining Central Park’s beauty, officials tasked to conserve the area allow for individuals to memorialize their loved ones via adopting a bench for $10,000. Once endowed, they may leave a dedication in the form of a plaque that’s embedded on the bench for years to come.
