Celebrity couple Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano just gave YouTube viewers a tour around their current home. Upon entry, they shared the spacious four-bedroom house that will serve as their humble abode while their dream home is still being renovated.
As per Jessy, out of all the houses they previously checked out, they instantly fell in love with this one thanks to its “quaint and cozy” vibe. Jessy’s sister Megan Tawile of DEFT design studio aided the pair in decorating the place’s interiors. Adorned with polished, hardwood floors and all-around neutral-shade furnishings, the couple’s rental home exudes a simple yet sophisticated air, perfect enough to keep them comfortable for the next two years.
Below, we list down all the cool details we loved about Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano’s temporary home:
The house’s foyer opens up to an impressive spiral staircase, but it’s the vibrant MM Yu painting that truly stands out here. As it turns out, it’s just one of the many art pieces scattered around Luis and Jessy’s home. Paintings and sculptures from other Pinoy artists are introduced throughout the vlog—including works by Elmer Borlongan, Johanna Helmuth, Ramon Orlina, and Geraldine Javier—it almost feels like they’ve curated their own mini museum!
Also known as Jessy’s "tambayan," the cloffice (a closet doubling as an office), is a snug nook the actress had built for herself. It’s where she goes whenever she needs some personal R&R or when she’s reading, putting on makeup, or shooting a fashion vlog. The best part? A few of her designer arm candy are neatly stored and displayed inside, making it not just convenient for Jessy’s easy perusal, but her bags also double as decorative pieces to touch up the room.
The garden/outdoor gym
Where better to break a sweat than out in your garden? Apart from having a place for Luis’ gym equipment, the expansive area also acts as their dogs’ playground.
The dining area
We love the couple’s beige-themed dining table, but if anything caught our eye in this section, it’s definitely the unexpected yet stunning stained glass skylight overhead. We also can’t miss the statement chair at the corner crafted by Dalisay Collection.
While it might be a challenge not to make a mess of, their marble-floored kitchen’s clean, all-white look is definitely a sight for sore eyes. According to Jessy, this particular room is one of the reasons why they immediately fell in love with the house.
