Heads, up Alchemy Of Souls fans: A casting change will reportedly happen in the second part of the K-drama!
Set in the fictional land of Daeho, Alchemy Of Souls revolves around young mages whose souls were switched due to magic. The hit tvN series is written by the Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran) who also penned Hotel Del Luna, My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho, and Master's Sun, to name a few.

Recently, it was reported that the drama has already begun filming part two and it will have 10 episodes (according to director Park Joon Hwa, it's hard to tell the entire story in just 20 eps). While the other cast members will retain their roles, it was said that Go Yoon Jung—who portrays Naksu—will play the female lead instead. If you can remember, Naksu woke up in the body of Mu Deok (Jung So Min) and it was shown in a scene.

In response to the reports, the production team of Alchemy Of Souls has stated that they can't disclose anything yet. "It is difficult to confirm the details related to part two because it can be a spoiler for part one that is currently being aired." Jung So Min and Go Yoon Jung's respective agencies have also echoed the same statement and asked for the audience's understanding.
You can watch new episodes of Alchemy Of Souls on Netflix every Saturday and Sunday.
