Because most students also treat their bedrooms as their classrooms at home, decluttering and adding some decor might help. The good thing about it is that you don't need to spend a lot to achieve your dream bedroom. This budding YouTuber redecorated her room from scratch and didn't cost a huge chunk of money. For her walls, Christy bought a a 3D foam brick wall she bought on Shopee for P180 (P90 each for a 70 x 70 cm piece). To decorate it even more, she printed photos from the internet that matched the color scheme of her room and pinned them on the foam wall decor. She also added some string lights (P349) on adhesive hooks (P50) to make the vibe cozier.

She also decided to include an accent wall featuring minimalist abstract art near her bed. To achieve it, she first drewÂthe outline of her chosen design using chalk. She then used extra paint at home to fill in the outlines. She only spent P10 for the chalk and another P10 for the paint brush.

She also added a DIY book shelf which she made herself. All in all, her room makeover only costed her P700 because most of the new features she added were just DIY projects.
