A new pot can definitely keep the gloom away.

Here are three things we know to be true—succulents can liven up any space, houseplants can purify the air at home and a potted wonder is a décor must-have many homeowners love. There’s no denying the power of these green superstars—they turn the smallest of units into a resort-like haven and the biggest of homes into a cozy and safer sanctuary. Aside from the numerous benefits we get from plants, they can be given as extra special gifts, too.

Whether you’re shopping for your space or you’re on the lookout for possible surprises you can give to your friends, here are seven stores that are worth a follow. Check out their fantastic feeds and be inspired to decorate your home. Don’t blame us if you end up buying more for your space—we’re sure you’ll find a special place for your new acquisitions:

1. Basic Commodity

Established in 2016, Basic Commodity is a slow living lifestyle shop that offers artisanal woodcraft, plantcraft, and other lifestyle goods. Their feed showcases a Zen vibe—with posts highlighting wooden plates and bowls made by Filipino craftsmen, paso (pots), bilao (woven round trays) and a variety of plants.

Aside from checking out the Kokedamas, you can also inquire about the Philippine orchids, ferns, and other tropical plants they offer. Basic Commodity also gives you two options: you can purchase plants that can be hung or displayed on a table.

2. Space Garden

If you’re looking for unique terrariums, Space Garden takes these green homes to the next level by working with stones, tree branches, and other unique planters.

We’ve got a long list of favorites, but we’ll surely collect the beauties placed in jars and recycled bottles. When placed in a corner of a room, it will add a vintage meets minimalist feel to a space. If you have a specific plant or look in mind, Space Garden can have it customized for you. They also offer landscaping services.
