If you just can't give up your milk tea cravings.

Need something to cool you down amid the sweltering summer heat? While we continue to practice social distancing holed up in our homes, a few milk tea stores in Manila remain open for pickup and delivery, ensuring citizens in the metro a brief yet delightful fix to their cabin fever.

But before you go ordering online, make sure to set aside a tip for your delivery guy. They're also working hard to keep themselves and their family afloat during these trying times and a little extra can go a long way.

Now that you've got that in mind, below are seven milk tea stores still partially open for business.

1. Gong Cha

A total of 18 Gong Cha stores have also stayed open for delivery through GrabFood and Foodpanda. Check out the list below to determine which apps they’re available in.

2. Tiger Sugar

In a bid to aid in the livelihood of their dairy farmer’s amid the COVID-19 crisis, Tiger Sugar has re-opened two of their branches in Del Monte and BGC. You can still get your brown sugar fix via take out or delivery through Lala Food. Take note though, that online delivery via Lala Food will only be available to you if you’re located within 6 kilometers of the said stores.

3. Tokyo Bubble Tea

Tokyo Bubble Tea’s Banawe, BGC, and Greenhills stores remain open from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for pickup or GrabFood delivery. Take note of each store’s contact, below.

4. Happy Lemon

As per a recent article on Business World, Happy Lemon’s Estancia branch in Ortigas remains open for business via Grab Food.

5. Infinitea

Infinitea will also be continuing operations in select stores strictly for pick-up and delivery, including that of Amaia Square in Quezon City from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. To find out which other branches are open to receive orders, customers are urged to look through the individual Facebook page of the Infinitea branch near them.

6. Chatime

While majority of Chatime’s Luzon branches have temporarily closed, their stores in Robinsons Galleria, Pioneer, and Cash and Carry Mall in Makati remain operational for pickup and delivery.

In the meantime, while most milk tea stores in the metro remain closed for the time being, some brands have taken to serving well-deserved refreshments to our frontliners instead.

"Sending our modern heroes our kind of love during these times! We hope we were able to provide some moments of Serenitea to you!" reads Serenitea's post.

Macao Imperial Tea helped out in a similar fashion, sending over drinks to military and medical personnel who have been tirelessy working throughout the crisis.

"To the Armed Forces of the Philippines, healthcare workers from the Philippine General Hospital, St. Lukes Medical Center, Makati Medical Center, San Juan De Dios Hospital and all front liners putting their lives on the line to help everyone get through this pandemic, thank you for your selfless service and sacrifice. You are our modern-day heroes in this fight against COVID-19. Stay safe. We salute you!" their post reads.
