Long before the likes of Instagram and TikTok took over, style mavens thrived in the form of blogs—a digital platform where bloggers shoot lookbooks of their OOTDs and share them with a loyal legion of readers. Needless to say, these OG fashion bloggers have come a long way—from inspiring us with their unique styling to landing prominent ad campaigns and even starring on magazine covers!

The 32-year-old star has been on the industry since 2010, and her blog Breakmystyle is recognized as one of the most-read fashion blogs in the country with over four million readers worldwide. Epitomizing fashion in all its loud, unabashed glory, you’d still see funky prints and bright colors in her IG posts at present.

Aside from working with global brands and traveling to Fashion Week capitals, Laureen is a proud entrepreneur, too! In fact, she recently invested in a beach lot in La Union, a dream come true for an island girl like herself.

Believe it or not, Kryz’s blogging venture started as a school project in 2009. Obviously, she had loads of fun doing it—and now over a decade after, she’s one of the revered style influencers of her generation. The jouney is not always charmed, though; because in 2021, she opened up about the harsh reality of the industry, revealing that she used to spiral toward Photoshopping her pictures just to reach a certain level of beauty standard. She has learned to get over it—and is now committed to using her platform to inspire others to love themselves, imperfections included.

3. Camille Co

Camille has always had a thing for stunning visuals—it’s what drove her to start her blog after all. Known for moody and artistic lifestyle content, it’s hard not to look at her and see how much she’s grown—she truly aged like fine wine right in front of our eyes. She's still active in documenting her travels on her social platforms, this time around with the company of her husband and little daughter. Adorable!

4. Tricia Gosingtian

Who would want to quit an industry of glitz and glamor, especially if you practically grew up in it? That might be the reaction of the followers of Tricia Gosingtian, who retired from blogging in 2018. She has no regrets over her decision, though. In fact, she feels more authentic when she’s low-key. Not to worry, you can still access her timeless style via her brainchild, fashion brand Hinhin.

5. Patricia Prieto

Aside from creating fashion and lifestyle content since 2007, Patricia took things up a notch at some point and studied Fashion Design and Marketing at the School of the Fashion and the Arts. A lover of of grungy and cool-girl OOTDs, she has found her way into fitness, too—as a spin and core instructor of the Philippines’ first ever indoor cycling studio.

6. Nicole Andersson

Nicole is an expert in mixing and matching, and her style totally reflects that. A well-known model, host, and fashion blogger—she had her fair share of struggles when she was starting out. For a while, she went abroad and was cut off by her own mom, so she had to fend for herself. At one point, she even had only two dollars on her bank account! If anything, all of it made her the successful woman that she is today.
