Their prenup shoot in Vietnam is proof that #LoveWins.

It’s a love story that began at a quaint cafe in Paris. There, famed local designer Francis Libiran met his soulmate; Christian Mark Jacobs, a businessman who just happened to extend his stay in the City of Lights after somewhat serendipitously missing his flight to Vietnam, turned out to be destiny’s answer to his prayers. A year later, Christian proposed with a hand-drawn story book detailing how they met, and naturally, it ended with him getting down on one knee with a shiny red box as he pops the question.

Vietnam, once under the French colony, served as the perfect backdrop for their pre-nuptial photos. Lensed by Nice Print Photography in collaboration with Merry to Marry, each shot vividly captures their love story and serves as a lovely reminder of that fateful day when they first met each other’s gaze. Their beautiful story continues with a fresh chapter come March 17, the big day for Francis and Christian to finally exchange “I dos.”

Now, before the wedding festivities, here's a quick rundown of the things we absolutely love about their prenup shoot in Vietnam:

1. It shows them having picnic on a boat.

They turned the Mekong Delta river into a romantic date spot, where the two shared a cozy picnic during a smooth-sailing Vietnamese boat ride—complete with French baguettes, clusters of green grapes, some pretzels, and glasses of white wine! We’re jealous.

2. The couple shows us how to layer in the tropics.

In the same set, the designer and his fiancé shared sartorial lessons on light layering—Christian and his printed collar peeking out under a knit pullover; and Francis’ brown suede bomber worn over a patterned button-down shirt. With their matching pompadours, these two knocked it out of the park.

3. Their #twinning game is strong.

Blending in with the background, they posed against a brick wall side by side and holding hands in their matching white chino shorts, woven slip-ons, and neutral-colored tops. Not to mention, the white balloons covering their faces tied together all the elements in this photograph. Now that’s how you play around a soft color palette!

4. Everything is Pinterest-worthy.

Picnics, balloons, sparklers, and pretty flower arrangements with aww-invoking typographies—all these are heading straight to our Pinterest boards, stat!

5. They clean up real good.

Because what engagement shoot is complete without a groom in his tuxedo, right? These dapper men have outdone themselves in their dark, single-breasted suits.
