Planning to travel to Hong Kong any time soon? Satisfy your dim sum craving the most IG-worthy way possible! These spots in HK will surely get the job done:
1. Yum Cha
The motherlode! They have pineapple tarts in bird cages, steamed sausage buns that look like dogs, pork buns (literally!), and the Internet-famous custard buns. The best part? They offer lots of promos, like buy one take one mains on weekday lunches!
2/F Nan Fung Place, 173 Des Voeux Rd Central, Central
3/F The Attitude Hotel, Granville Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui
2. Dimsum Icon
Obsessed with Gudetama? This is one stop you shouldn’t miss. Dimsum Icon plays with our favorite characters and puts them on our food ready to be Instagrammed.
Gudetama branch: B/F Century Square, 1 D'Aguilar St., Central
Kobitos branch: 3/F The ONE, 100 Nathan Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui
3. Palace Wedding Banquet Specialist
Up on the 13th floor of The One (pun may or may not have been intended) is a wedding banquet hall that’s open to walk-ins for lunch. They only have one or two cute dimsum offerings on the menu—hamsuikok in the shape of carrots, anyone? But you can get a great view of the city from here, too, so it's definitely worth a visit. Get the yin yang fried rice for full effect!
P.S. Their take on shrimp toast—basically shrimp sliders—are good, too.
13/F, The ONE, 100 Nathan Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui
4. Hong Kong Disneyland
Who could ever forget the happiest place on earth where themed edibles are in season all year round? Dim sum is definitely not exempted—and they're too cute you won't be able to resist taking a photo or two!
Lantau Island, Hong Kong
