As the days get warmer and longer, we can’t help but start envisioning our much-awaited vacation! And don’t we all have Paris as one of our dream destinations? We can already imagine walking down the picturesque Parisian streets and the smell of fine French pastries wafting in the air. Oh, and don't forget shopping our heart's content, too! Now, if you've planned a tour around Europe and have only one day to spend in Paris, we prepared an itinerary you can easily follow.
Here's a one-day itinerary you can follow to enjoy Paris this summer:
1. Have breakfast at Angelina’s
Rise and shine! There's nothing like a good old hot chocolate, pain au chocolat, and croissants to say "Bonjour" to you. Angelina can be quite packed in the morning with locals and tourists alike getting their day started so you better make a bee line here first thing in the morning to get the best table and hot-from-the-oven viennoiserie.
2. Appreciate art at the Louvre
Whether you’re inside Musée du Louvre perusing thousands of world-famous art like the Mona Lisa, or outside, taking artsy OOTD shots, this is definitely a place to visit in Paris if you’re an art enthusiast.
3. Stroll in the soul of Paris in Montmartre
With its cobbled streets, quaint little shops and cafes, and street art, Montmartre is a charming spot in Paris! Located atop a hill, it can be quite a climb. But, you'll find the soul of Paris in its narrow alleys. It’s a stroll you won’t ever forget!
4. Have lunch with a view at Cafe Du Trocadero
Indulge in a classic French onion soup and escargot with the Eiffel Tower as your view. If you’re lucky enough to be seated outside, you’ll be dining the Parisian way with your seats facing the streets as you watch the world go by.
5. Shop till you drop at Avenue des Champs-Élysées
After a hearty lunch, it's time to burn the calories! Head on over to Avenue des Champs-Élysées, a popular stretch in Paris that's lined with all the shops and boutiques your heart desires.
5. Have a picnic near the Eiffel Tower
By now, your aching feet are desperate for some downtime. What better way to do that than having a mini picnic near the Eiffel Tower? Grab some fruits, cheeses, and maybe even a bottle of wine, then choose the perfect spot for a picnic to remember!
7. Catch the golden hour at Arc De Triomphe
Just before the day ends, hit one more Parisian landmark. Just at the end of Champs-Élysées, stands one of Paris’ famous monuments, Arc De Triomphe. Enjoy this architectural beauty and snap a few OOTDs, while you're at it!
8. End your day with a sweet note at Carette du Trocadero
Your trip won't be complete if you don’t indulge in some sweet pastries! Carette offers a selection of mouthwatering desserts that will comfort you before bidding au revoir to the beautiful city of Paris.
