1. JU-ON: Origins (July 3)
ICYMI, iconic Japanese horror franchise Ju-On, better known as The Grudge, is coming out with a six-episode TV series on Netflix. The streaming site's official synopsis for the show reads: "A paranormal researcher searches obsessively for a cursed home where something terrible happened to a mother and her child long ago."

2. The Maid (July 9)
A vengeful maid takes on a new job in a haunted mansion to uncover her employer's secrets. In the midst of her personal vendetta, she encounters the malicious supernatural inhabitants dwelling inside the house.

3. Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare: Extended Director’s Cut (July 7)
In a new twist to the classic Blumhouse thriller, a game of truth or dare between college friends turns deadly when an unknown entity starts punishing those who tell a lie, or refuse a dare.

4. Unsolved Mysteries (July 1)
Take a deep dive into real-life traumatic events and spine-tingling retellings with Unsolved Mysteries. According to Netflix, the haunting docuseries is "rooted in the experiences of ordinary people who have lived the unthinkable—from the trauma of a loved one’s unexplained disappearance or horrific death, to the shock of a bizarre paranormal encounter. Alongside detectives and journalists, family members offer clues, present theories, and identify suspects, hoping one viewer holds the key to solving the mystery."
5. The Invasion (July 1)
In this 2007 sci-fi horror film, Nicole Kidman stars as a psychiatrist invesigating the origins of an alien epidemic that turns humans into soulless vessels once contact is made. In her search for the truth, she soon finds that the only cure for the virus may lie within her own son.

6. Single White Female (July 1)
Throw it back to the '90s with the 1992 American flick Single White Female. A psychological erotic thriller, the film revolves around a New York-based software designer named Allie. After learning of her fiance's infidelity, she throws him out of their home and quickly advertises her search for a new roommate. Allie finds a promising tenant in a woman named Hedy, a lonely single whose twin died at birth. Though the only seemingly normal candidate at first, Hedy becomes suspiciously overprotective of Allie, and her odd behavior soon leads to a chain of events that ruins the latter's life.
