It's super simple!

Living in a humid tropical country, we all know there's a fine line between oily and glowy. Case in point: Have you ever stepped out of the house looking radiant, only to have your radiance usurped by a slick, oily shine right down your face an hour after you step out the door? Not cute.

To keep this from happening, try this tip from Hollywood makeup artist Pati Dubroff:

"Moisturizer's important, but you don't put it everywhere. You don't want a shiny center, so [apply] moisturizer on the perimeter of the face," she says. "Hydration where you want the glowiness, and then mattification in the center where you're going to want to be more matte."

Makes sense, right? It usually gets really shiny in the center of the face, so by keeping that area free of anything oily (like moisturizer), you'll use less product to keep it shine-free. Pati recommends doing this by prepping your face with a matte primer down the center of your face and only applying moisturizer where you want to glow.
