The models at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show are some of the most gorgeous women in the world, but every year, they all spend hours in the makeup chair to take their looks to the next level. Why exactly do they take so long, you ask? Find out below!
This year's makeup was directed by British makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, who has her own namesake beauty brand. According to her, the makeup for the show is all about "enhanced, goddess skin" that looks natural yet flawless—no glitter required!
Charlotte did a live demo on Victoria's Secret's Instagram, revealing all the steps to get the look. She said that the models all wore a sheet mask and a layer of Charlotte's Magic Cream to prep their skin before the makeup artist applied layers upon layers of liquids to get that angelic glow.
She smoothed the products on the skin in this order: illuminating primer, dewy foundation, and liquid highlighter (she used her brand's Hollywood Flawless Filter). And for even more glow, she brushed a touch of cream blush on the model's cheeks.
To get that classic VS eye, the girls wore a ton of bronze tones on their lids and a layer of rose gold cream eyeshadow.
Finishing off with Victoria's Secret's mascara, lip cream, and some of Charlotte Tilbury's Airbrush Flawless Powder to blot extra shine, here's the final look on Romee Strijd and Candice Swanepoel!
