After two successful capsule collections with Estée Lauder, Victoria Beckham has officially announced a solo beauty venture. The British designer broke the news on social media yesterday, revealing that she's set to launch her own beauty brand, Victoria Beckham Beauty, later this year.
In a press release, she hints that the brand will not just offer makeup but also products across different beauty categories. "I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in makeup, skincare, fragrance, and wellness that I feel I need in my own life," she states.
The designer isn't taking on this new venture alone either, because Sarah Creal, a former Estée Lauder executive who was involved in VB's collaborations with the brand, is serving as Victoria Beckham Beauty's co-founder and CEO. In a statement, Sarah says that everything in the line will be "directly overseen by Victoria" and we are to expect "elevated" and "impeccably curated" products.
VB Beauty will begin as a digital-only brand (exclusively available via victoriabeckham.com) when it launches next season, opting for a direct-to-consumer approach. "Just like I spend so much time in the fitting room getting to know what my customers want to wear, I'm going to be asking women to tell me which products they want me to develop for them in the beauty and wellness arenas. It's important for me to know what they want," Victoria explains.
No clues about her upcoming products have been released, but based on her previous beauty collabs, we're definitely in for a treat!
