Let's not sugarcoat it: None of us got the summer vacation we deserved this year. Unless you live near a beach (lucky you), your dry season has most likely been spent getting grilled by the heat indoors and little else. Wearing our swimsuits at home has given us a slice of that summer vibe, but sometimes, we just miss feeling that shoreside breeze on our skin and smelling the sun-drenched scent of the sand. If we can't go to the beach, we can just bring the beach to us—and we don't mean overhauling our yards into a mini Boracay.
Perfumes have been our only means of traveling for the past few months, and it looks like that won't be changing any time soon. This summer, the scent that's taking us right back to better times is Versace's freshest drop: Dylan Turquoise.

According to Donatella Versace herself, Dylan Turquoise is a reminder of the warm sun and summer days. It evokes the feel of a sweet escape, where blue sky and crystal waters meet. That alone paints a picture we don't mind seeing every day, but wait until you actually smell it. Dylan Turquoise is refreshingly luminous, opening with a burst of Primofiore lemon and Italian mandarin made brighter with pink peppercorn.
It's your quintessential fresh citrus floral, with a juicy, guava-fused heart that gives the scent its airy, tropical feel. That said, it's not all fruity sweetness—the fragrance has whiffs of jasmine and freesia, grounded by a base cocktail of ambery Clearwood, vibrant woods, and white musk that brings the signature Versace sensuality to the solar blend.

But here's what else sets Dylan Turquoise apart: It showcases Versace's sustainability efforts. Over 85% of the raw ingredients in the perfume are biodegradable, and are obtained by the brand from traceable and sustainable supply chains all over the world.
All this was achieved without sacrificing the beauty of the fragrance itself, being packaged in a frosted glass bottle in a gorgeous shade crystal blue (yes, like the ocean waters) and topped with a gold aluminum cap emblazoned with the Versace Medusa Head. It's near identical to the flacon of the Dylan Blue, which is another well-loved perfume from the brand.

That said, the best thing about living in the tropics is that we can wear vibrant blends like Dylan Turquoise practically all year round. The scent being a glaring reminder of our beloved beach trips is but a bonus.
