For last-minute costume parties!

Even a last-minute costume can be a hit when it's done right. The key is to keep your inspiration simple—say, choose a pop culture icon that's impossible not to recognize! That said, our pick for this year comes straight from the chic town of Riverdale, and it's a costume you can pull together in minutes.

Everyone, meet Riverdale's new It girl and your Halloween alter-ego: Veronica Lodge.

Veronica's default look on the show gets a lot of inspiration from the the 1950s. While she might not have thin brows that were big back then, she keeps them dark with a high, defined arch. This is perhaps the key point of her look other than her lips, since her eye makeup is quite plain—a lightly defined crease and some winged liner. Sometimes, she does opt for a softer look by choosing a darker brown as her crease color and a light nude as an eyelid base, plus the cat eye. You can go with either one!

To add more colors to your costume, wear the Riverdale character's two signature colors: berry and burgundy. On the lips, go for a berry shade with a satin or semi-matte finish. A hydrating formula will keep your puckers fresh and comfy all day. The same goes for your tips; varnish them with a burgundy polish that catches the light.
