Don't make it too obvious that you pulled an all-nighter!

When you have undereye troubles to cover, your concealer shouldn't just be good at, well, concealing. It has to come in the perfect shade, too, because the wrong color will only make your dark circles look worse than they are—and nobody wants that.

To find out the concealer shade you need, look in the mirror and check the color of your skin. Does it look blue? Grayish? Red? Once you know for sure, find your best match below:

BLUE/PURPLE UNDEREYES: Orange corrector/Peach concealer

Following the color theory, the warmth of orange and peach shades will correct the bluish tint of your veins and purplish hues. To use these shades properly, start by applying an orange concealer first and then layering it with a shade that matches your skin tone. For a quick fix, swipe on a concealer with a slightly peachy undertone.

PINK/RED UNDEREYES: Yellow-toned concealer

Redness under the eyes is common among those who have pink undertones, particularly those with fair skin. For this, it's recommended to use concealers with a yellow undertone that will cancel out the pink hues while brightening the area at the same time.

GRAYISH/YELLOW UNDEREYES: Pink-toned concealer

When your undereyes are looking dull, pale, or sallow, use concealer shades with a pink or salmon undertone to make your peepers look brighter and healthier. Think of it as blush, but for your eye bags!

DULL UNDEREYES: One shade lighter

Going for a concealer that's a shade lighter than your skin tone can instantly make you look more well-rested. That said, make sure you don't go too light and use something with full coverage, as this can make your concealer seem too obvious, making very dark circles look more apparent.
