Affordable sheet masks usually retail for around 90 pesos a pop, while high-end brands can go for about 300. And although that might not sound like much at first, the cost really piles up the more often you buy them, especially if you plan to make them a staple in your routine.
Thankfully, sheet masks aren't that hard to DIY. So for when you feel like skimping on your sheet mask habit, here's how you can make an affordable one using products you already have at home.
What you'll need:
Toner mist / Face serum

TRY: Muji Light Toning Water & Cotton Pads, Greenbelt 3; Pixi by Petra Glow Tonic, Glamourbox
1. After cleansing, soak a cotton pad with hydrating mist or toner until it becomes transparent. To boost the skin benefits, add a few drops of your favorite serum into the cotton pad.
2. Pull the cotton pad apart to separate it into two sheets.
3. Strategically place it on your forehead, cheeks, chin, and everywhere else in need of some TLC.
4. Let the cotton pads rest on your face for 10-15 minutes like a regular sheet mask.
Can't wait to try this at home!
