I’m not gonna lie. When I first heard I'd have to make a product review on this nail gel that will supposedly help my talons recover in two weeks time, I sort of panicked. I mean, healthy tips sound cool and all, but going bare for two whole weeks? That’s not something I would’ve done on my own free will, and I know a lot of beauty gals who’d overreact at the thought, too.
Fortunately, I had no choice—and it turned out to be one of the best things I’ve ever done for my nails.
Locycare Nail Gel is Galderma Philippines' latest revolutionary product clinically proven to improve damaged and discolored nails due to regular use of nail polish, which contains chemicals and solvents that can do more harm than good. When applied to bare nails, this moisturizing gel works on hydrating your tips and promoting healthy nail growth.

The directions on the label said to apply it twice a day for two weeks. In the morning, it was one of the first things I'd do when I'd arrive at my desk in the office. Then during the late afternoon, I'd repeat the same routine. I'd dab it on my nails, then lightly massage it in until it was fully absorbed.
My findings after 2 weeks:
Smell: Minty, but not too strong. I love that it doesn't smell like regular medicated creams.
Texture: Since it's gel, it feels slightly sticky, though it dries off pretty fast.
Visible Result: From yellowish to pinkish nails. Plus, my nails feel healthier and stronger now.
While I can’t blame you for relentlessly going for a gel manicure or for being attracted to the beauty of nail art (trust me, I know the feeling), abusing your nails can greatly reduce its natural moisture, leading to brittle, sensitive, and broken plates. A 14-day rehabilitation program can seem like forever, but come to think of it, it's a small price to pay for those long years of mistreating your nails.
Try this product if: You feel that you owe your tips a break and a much-needed pampering!
