Say goodbye to wasting beauty products absorbed by your beauty sponge. With this silicone applicator aptly named the SiliSponge, sold by Hong Kong-based indie cosmetics brand Molly Cosmetics, it might be time for the widely popular Beautyblender to take a backseat. Here’s what we know so far:
Encapsulated in flexible material called thermoplastic polyurethane or TPU, it’s clear and non-porous. It's also resistant to oil and grease, and since it's made of silicone, the product would only easily be absorbed by your skin instead of adhering to the sponge.
The best part? The SiliSponge is also easy to clean. Just rinse with regular soap and warm water!
