For beauty junkies, putting on a face and getting to play with your makeup can be the perk-up you need to jumpstart the morning. For the lazy type (myself included), anything that’s quick to slap on is more than good enough. But let’s face it, when you’re meeting with different people, you need to put in some effort in the way you look even though the look you’re going for is effortless chic. So for all you girls who just want a fuss-free face to show at work, here’s a quick how-to on how you can get that no makeup look with just seven items in your vanity kit. Read on.

Mix in drops of luminizer with your daily moisturizer to give your complexion a subtle, lit-from-within glow. To highlight your bone structure, use clear balm or petroleum jelly and lightly pat it along your brow bones and cheekbones.

Line your inner rim with a flesh-toned eye pencil to instantly make your eyes look bigger and brighter. Whites don’t look as natural as compared to nude shades.

Fake full lashes sans the mascara and falsies with the help on invisible eyeliner. With a small angled eyeliner brush, smudge dark gel eyeliner onto your upper waterline to make your lashes look more defined.

Well groomed brows can make a big difference. Start by brushing them into submission by keeping hair strands in place with clear brow gel. Finish it off by lifting them with a touch of concealer right above the arch.

Offset the shadows on your face with a softer version of your standard highlighter of shimmery off-white eye shadow. Using your ring finger, apply (and blend) the shadow to spots on your face that could use a little light such as the center crease of your chin, the inner corners of your eyes, and your nose bridge.

Enhance the shape of your lips with tactically placed highlighter and concealer. Blend a dot of highlighter onto the center of your bottom lip, and press them together to transfer it to your top. Next, lightly dab concealer around the corners of your mouth to give that pout some discreet definition.

Nude lips may look too pale so add a touch of color with any existing tube you already have in your beauty kit. Just swipe it on, leave for a bit, then wipe it all off. Coat it with a bit of balm and you’re all set.
