As sexy as being photographed at the beach with long layered waves cascading down your shoulders and back sounds, having long hair during such an insanely hot time of the year can get pretty nasty. For that reason, a lot of women choose to welcome bikini season with a quick trip to their hairstylists for a fresh short ‘do. But one summer makeover we totally didn’t see coming was this one from Wendy. No, we don’t mean Peter Pan’s puppy love. We mean Wendy as in the poster girl on the logo of the famous fast food chain.

Today, Campaignbriefasia.com reports that Wendy’s Guam surprised its loyal customers by unveiling a new logo which depicts the famous redhead without her signature pigtails and sporting a cool cropped 'do with side bangs. Very Rihanna circa-Disturbia if you ask us.

As to what pushed them to give Wendy’s locks the chop? MullenLowe Open Philippines, the fast food chain’s marketing agency, has yet to release a statement regarding the change in logo.
