Brows can be a very personal thing. Some prefer a natural look, while others lean towards a more sculpted, made-up feel. Whether you prefer one or the other, we’re sure you’re always up for new ways to shorten the time you spend drawing them on.

You’ve probably seen brow pencils like these around. They usually come as a twist up pencil and a duo, with one end having a pencil and the other a screw brush or a spoolie for blending. The pencil itself has an angled, triangular shape, like that of an eyeliner brush. The width of the product may look intimidating, but it might just be one of the most convenient brow products out there.

The straight edge of the pencil allows you to draw straight lines quickly to outline your desired brow shape, and fill in sparse areas without looking too patchy. The fine tips of it, on the other hand, are awesome for drawing thinner lines that look like real brow hairs. It’s like three products in one, and it’s not too likely that you’ll make an obvious mistake with these things either. You can all just blend them out with the spoolie after.

Convinced yet? Here are some products that are well-loved by brow enthusiasts everywhere.
