Months ago, I was innocently watching Rosie Huntington-Whiteley go about her go-to evening makeup on her YouTube channel. It was classic a combo of dewy skin, bronze eyes, and a red lip that she has worn countless of times on Instagram. But imagine my surprise when the model whipped out a very familiar lipstick tube from a local brand and showered it with a stream of compliments.
As you can probably guess, that brand is Sunnies Face, which is known locally and internationally for their creamy Fluffmatte lipsticks. The model used the shade Hot Sauce in her tutorial—a bright tomato red that's been worn by Elsa Hosk and raved about by editors of The Cut. Since the brand launched, there's been constant clamor to have Sunnies Face available in America. And now, thanks to Rosie and her company Rose Inc., fans of the Filipino brand can now experience the popular matte lipstick for themselves.
Sunnies Face and Rosie have collaborated on two limited edition makeup kits featuring the model's favorites from the brand. First is the On-Duty kit—a trio with red and rosy shades that's perfect for an evening look. It includes the Airblush in Doll and the Fluffmatte lipsticks in Hot Sauce and Girl Crush—all housed in a chic, patent coral pouch.

If you prefer that nude, barely-there look more, there's the Off-Duty kit with the Fluffmattes in Vacay and Nudist plus the Airblush in Peached. Both kits will be exclusively available on Rose Inc. for US addresses starting December 10 6PM PST for $65 each.

According to Sunnies co-founder Georgina Wilson-Burnand, the collaboration is part of their efforts to represent the brand's take on beauty on a different platform. "Sunnies Face will always be inspired by our girl crushes: effortlessly confident and comfortable in its own skin, it's everything we love about Rosie and the inclusive destination she's built with Rose Inc," she said in a press statement.
The Rose Inc. founder is equally thrilled to work with the local beauty brand that, to quote her directly, is "shaking up the beauty industry." She tells the press, "What started as a friendship born through mutual adoration of each other's brands has quickly transformed into a beautiful working relationship and I'm excited for the Rose Inc. community to learn about Sunnies Face."
Needless to say, this is the collaboration we never knew we needed.
