Acne breakouts are annoying. Everyone gets them at some point in their lives—including celebs like Sue Ramirez! In fact, like many of us, Sue revealed that she struggled with bacne.

"I used to have a big problem with bacne," the 26-year-old The Broken Marriage Vow star shared. "All [throughout] my teenage years until my early 20s, it has always been my problem talaga."

Like normal acne, bacne is commonly caused by sweat, oil, and dead skin cells clogging up pores on our back. It can also be triggered by tight clothing.

According to Sue, one beauty product that helped clear up her skin is Silka's Green Papaya Whitening Soap. "Natatanggal 'yung mga dark marks. Ang dami ko po talaga sa likod, pero ngayon mayabang na po ako... Ang kinis na po ng likod ko," the newest face of Silka shared during the brand's event on September 29, 2022.

"Hobby ko na mag [suot ng] backless [clothes]," she jokingly said. In case you're curious, the brightening soap is enriched with green papaya enzyme, which helps exfoliate dead skin cells. It's also formulated with vitamin E to strengthen the skin barrier as well as D-Panthenol, which reduces itching and inflammation. P.S. It only costs less than P50!

The actress, who is a certified beach lover, also mentioned how it faded her tan lines. "'Yung sinasabi nila na seven days, totoong totoo as in simula nung ginamit ko siya, nakita ko talaga 'yung progress ng skin ko after seven days."

Aside from having a skincare routine, Sue pointed out that feeling and looking good starts from within.

"Meron ako binasa na libro just recently, yung Ikigai [The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life]. It's a Japanese saying or belief na umiiwas talaga sila sa stress... It's scientifically proven that your cells don't regenerate when you're under stress," she said. "Smile more. Look at the world with more optimism."

It's also important to surround yourself with people who "uplift" you, she added.

Ultimately, Sue noted that beauty is all about acceptance. "I think beauty is confidence and confidence is acceptance. When you know and accept who you are, that's when you truly feel beautiful."
