Liza Soberano may have deviated from wearing a custom gown for the Star Magic Ball, but that's about the only thing she changed for the big event. The actress still came in her signature fresh-faced look as she made her way down the red carpet, looking stunning in almost nothing on her skin.

"I was expecting the rest of the girls to wear something smokey and heavy, so I opted for simple makeup for Liza," her makeup artist Mickey See tells Preview. Evening out her skin with a small amount of tinted moisturizer and loose powder, he achieved a soft-matte finish that photographed perfectly even with flash.

To add a hint of flush and glow, the makeup artist dusted a coral blush right on the apples of Liza's cheeks and swiped on a nude highlighter. Meanwhile, he made her lashes the focal point of her face, coating them generously with mascara to push them up.

Lastly, can you believe she wasn't even wearing lipstick? "She really wanted to have almost no makeup but didn't want to look pale," Mickey notes. So, he skipped lipstick entirely for a hydrating peach lip balm that gave her just the right amount of color.
