Olay's Touch of Foundation simplifies the process—fabulously.
Special Effects Olay's Touch of Foundation simplifies the process—fabulously.

Aside from being eco-conscious (we all know that today, green is the new black), multi-tasking is another catchphrase making the rounds of the beauty industry. Everything that can be abridged should be, as a testament to our impatience and ever-shortening attention spans. Mostly, though, we simplify because we want to spend our quality time on quality things like, well, that crazy thing called life, instead of all its auxiliaries. Truthfully, anything that can save one some precious minutes is worth looking into.

We've all rhapsodized about the overachieving qualities of Olay Total Effects; now they up the game even further with their new tinted moisturizer, Touch of Foundation, which brilliantly cuts out yet another step in our morning routines. All the perks of the original remain: protection and prevention of lines and wrinkles, roughness, dullness, unevenness, big pores, age spots and dryness, all with SPF protection to boot, but this time in a remarkably versatile tinted formula that—trust us—matches the widest range of skin tones we've ever seen in a single product, getting rid of the need for additional base. True story: 100% of the 125 women who tested it (their ethnicities ranged from Asian, Caucasian to Hispanic) liked how the tinted moisturizer looked, felt and blended onto their skin.

Andy Lee, a renowned Singaporean makeup artist whose celebrity clientele includes Anna Sui, Gong Li and Zhang Ziyi, shares that humid conditions like Singapore and Manila require a light-wearing foundation that also imparts radiance, as city pollution can be extremely dulling and stressful on skin. Touch of Foundation's double-duty as both a moisturizer and a base helps skin breathe and maintain freshness even in the most sweltering of conditions.

A pea-sized amount distributed onto the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin is best. Top off with loose powder for more staying power, or wear alone for the sheerest, most summer-appropriate finish possible. Matched with a pretty blush and lip stain, the look is all about easy polish.

Afterthought: We're also addicted to its delicately sweet scent, a brand trademark. We can't wait for their next innovation!
