Knowing what goes into your favorite skincare products and how it benefits you is a vital step in your skincare journey—and popular skincare brand SkinWhite believes in it, too.
Last May 5, SkinWhite gave the public a glimpse of the science behind its wide range of skin-brightening solutions. Dubbed the SkinWhite Skinnovation Center, the event brought together experts, influencers, and guests for an exciting and educational afternoon at White Space Manila, which was transformed into a futuristic playground for all things skincare.
Upon registration, attendees were given “passports” that marked the different booths stationed at the venue. A visit to each booth guaranteed a sticker of completion, and when all five were collected, the passport would serve as the participant’s raffle ticket for a chance to win a brand-new iPad. They were also encouraged to solve riddles for the SkinWhite Scavenger Hunt to get a chance to be one of three winners to receive special prizes.
Host Janeena Chan led the main program, which began with a talk on skin pain points. The skincare brand lived up to its tagline—“Expert Bright That’s Right”—by inviting licensed dermatologists to guide the attendees into choosing the skin-brightening lotion that’s suitable for their specific skin concerns.
The participants also joined an open forum, wherein skin influencers opened up about their own skin problems and skincare journeys. Their stories piqued everyone’s curiosity, helping set the tone for an exciting afternoon.
With the event focused on the importance of knowing the science and tech behind skincare, it was no surprise that participants gathered at the SkinWhite Consultation Booth and Skin Station. These two booths redefined the future of skincare by featuring high-tech lab equipment used to assess the skin and identify its different needs. Attendees were also shown experiments and demonstrations, which helped explain the distinctions, benefits, tech, and ingredients of the seven SkinWhite lotions.
People also got a chance to win more prizes and immortalize their Skinnovation Center experience through other interactive booths. There was the SkinWhite Claw Machine, which evoked nostalgia while providing an exciting way for guests to win skincare products like lotions, soaps, cleansers, and deos.
Those who checked out the Skin Selfies: Skincare Corner were welcomed into a dreamy, skincare-centric setup to commemorate their “Bright That’s Right” outfits, while the SkinWhite Selfies: Beauty Portraits booth let them embrace the skin they’re in through portraits shot by @thejohnshoots.
Finally, the event concluded with a brief awarding ceremony to recognize the winners of the raffle and scavenger hunt.
