During the rainy season, the clouds block the sunlight, giving the illusion that we don't need protection from anything. But make no mistake: Those harmful UVAs and UVBs are still coming for you. Up to 40% of ultraviolet radiation still reaches the earth even when clouds seem to be blocking the view, so it's best to always keep yourself protected with some SPF!

Pick something with SPF 15 or higher, and apply an even layer on your skin around 30 minutes before stepping out of the house. According to Cancer.org, products with SPF 15 filter out 93% of UVB rays; SPF 30 can block up to 97%; and SPF 50 can shield you from about 98%.
