Silver Foxes Make Up For Ever celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Blow out the candles, beauty junkies: the beauty bigwig Make Up For Ever turns 25 this 2009, and in true Parisian fashion, celebrated their silver anniversary with much joie de vivre. Fort Bonifacio's Amber Ultra Lounge played host to the industry's most dynamic partygoers and beautyphiles as they beheld the Philippines' first-ever face and body painting runway show courtesy of the brand.

The show executed everything in the trademark artistic style of the French, where the body becomes a living, breathing, 3D canvas. The spectacular production featured (somewhat) naked models, in full body paint interpretations of the night's theme, “the grandeur of nature”—yes, flamboyant peacocks, fiery tigresses and over-the-top butterflies, all rendered with glitz and glam, were par for the course.

The models were made up by the Make Up For Ever Pro Team led by creative director Mei Avancena and included ubiquitous artists like Yuki Geraldo, Monica Reyes, Regie Escolin, River Guilas, Pinky Alcantara, Julie Ebio, Joyce Platon, Ciara Lira, Archie Valencia and the multi-hyphenated Solenn Heussaff, who herself conceptualized the whole show.

Yuki's Ocean's Glory opened the evening, with Solenn's Peacock Queen bringing the house down near the end. We also couldn't help but gawk at all the frilly details on Regie's Butterfly Mystique and the understated sex appeal of River's Serpentine. And as every socialite knows, a birthday isn't a party without a cake, and the brand leveled up and toasted with a giant collage cake of MUFE creator Dany Sanz's works from the past 25 years. Sweets, sass, tricks and treats—all in all, a great pre-Halloween event!

Congratulations, Make Up For Ever!
