Getting ready for a big event almost feels like getting ready for battle. This rings especially true for Yoon Hye Jin of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (played by Shin Min Ah), who had to attend a colleague's wedding after self-exiling in Gongjin.
In episode three, the dentist was stressing about her look for the event. She even made a major online shopping haul just to have some outfit options, thanks to the lack of department stores in the boondocks.
Hye Jin eventually settled for a lilac ruffled top and burgundy trousers, topping off the ensemble with the one thing every girl needs for an incoming "bloodbath": Red lipstick.
As one would expect from the stylish dentist, Hye Jin had two packed rows of Givenchy Beauty lipsticks on her vanity. She picked the deepest red of the bunch for the nerve-wracking occasion: The brand's Le Rouge Deep Velvet Matte Lipstick in Rouge Graine. This lipstick is one of Givenchy's most popular reds, alongside L'Interdit.
It's not every day that a K-drama leading lady sports a red this bold, but we don't blame her. It's perfect for such a high-pressure reunion, not to mention the color goes seamlessly with her outfit!
Hye Jin's childhood friend Mi Seon swears by these lipsticks, too. Later in the episode, she pulled out two shades from her bag, asking the dentist which would suit her better.
