Whether you just subscribed to iflix or suddenly have the urge to re-watch Gossip Girl for the nth time, your jammies and duvet won’t be complete without a third partner-in-crime: munchies! This week, we’re trading in our favorite popcorn for a sexier snack. Because avocados are the new Oprah.

What you’ll need:

1 avocado

1 tbsp. lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 slices whole wheat bread, toasted

½ cup feta cheese, crumbled

2 tablespoons black olives, sliced

pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

olive oil, for drizzling

Avocados are high in heart healthy monounsaturated fatty acids, fiber, potassium, and iron. Also great for breakfast. 

How to do it:

 1. Mash the avocado with lemon juice and salt.

2. Spread the mashed avocado on bread slices.

3. Top with feta cheese, black olives, and some red pepper flakes if you want that extra kick.

4. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil

5. Commence marathon sesh.
