Beauty retail giant Sephora has just opened its biggest store in the world, and you don't even need a travel visa to get there. The two-story branch is located at the Fahrenheit88 Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It boasts of 17,000 square feet—the New York store, the largest in North America, is just 11,300 feet.
The megastore carries 100 brands and about 10,000 products. Prepare to be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of goodies on display. We advise that you take a shopping buddy with you so you can make better (read: non-impulsive) purchase decisions.
The new flagship store has an events space, a photo studio, and Southeast Asia's first Beauty Loft—a VIP lounge where Beauty Pass Gold members can get exclusive services. The Sephora team wants to ensure that shopping in a physical store is just as fun as adding to cart online.
The question that remains is: When will you book that Kuala Lumpur trip?
