We all have our own preferences when it comes to our brows. Some like it straight, some with a high arch, while some don't mind as long as they're full. As for 19-year-old model Scarlett Costello, she prefers to keep hers natural—in a unibrow, no less!
"I've had it my whole life and I didn't think much of it growing up," the model tells Teen Vogue. "My mom always told me it’s good to have thick brows because she plucked her thin ones off in the '90s when pencil brows were in."
Scarlett shares that she did wax her brows when she began modeling. It wasn't until three years ago when her agency, Ford Models, advised her to grow it out instead. So she did.
"I started to think that I looked better with it," says the model. "I’m a big believer in the idea that everyone looks the best the way their genes intended them to. The confidence of embracing natural beauty is what makes it great."
From there, the comparisons with the art icon Frida Kahlo became inevitable, and Scarlett embraces it. In fact, she, too, is an art student and has even dressed up as the painter when she was young!

Oh, and just in case you were wondering how she keeps her arches in check, Scarlett applies castor oil on them at night, and never leaves the house without brow gel. Noted!
