With the amount of fragrances out there to choose from, finding your signature scent can feel a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack. But when you do find that one scent, the perfect fragrance that seems tailor-made for you, it becomes more than just a fragrance; it becomes a part of who you are.
Pia Wurtzbach has been using the same perfume since 2015—Dior Hypnotic Poison. It’s an amber vanilla fragrance with creamy top notes of coconut, plum, and apricot, a bouquet of jasmine, tuberose, rose, and lily-of-the-valley at the heart, all rounded out by a sweet base of vanilla, almond, sandalwood, and musk. You might be wondering, what's so special about this fragrance (aside from its deliciously captivating blend of notes) that it's held its grip on her for so long.

Fragrances can evoke personal memories and emotions. If a particular scent holds a special meaning for you, it can be a strong candidate for your signature scent. Many of us know Pia Wurtzbach as Miss Universe 2015, and during her win, she happened to be wearing Dior’s Hypnotic Poison. In fact, in a previous interview, she revealed to Preview that she likes to think of it as her “winning scent.”
But that’s not all. ICYDK, Pia Wurtzbach now holds another title apart from Miss Universe 2015. As of March 24, 2023, she now goes by the title Mrs. Jauncey as well. In an exclusive interview with Preview, Pia shared that during her first few dates with her now-husband, Jeremy Jauncey, she also happened to be wearing Hypnotic Poison.
“It’s the scent I was wearing on my first few dates with Jeremy, so it’s the scent he’s used to,” she said. He even notices when she wears something different. “He notices when I wear a different perfume and doesn't like it because it doesn't 'smell like me'. So, I’ve kept Hypnotic Poison as my staple, even on my wedding day."
How cute is that?
