Year 2014 is finally here and we, the Style Bible editors, have our beauty resolutions ready for our Me, Version 2.0. Bad beauty habits of the past are laid to rest as we embrace our better and brand new selves with these game-changing pledges.
While keeping your resolutions throughout the whole 12 months may be daunting, here are some pointers to help you get ahead: First up is to change gradually; sudden pressure will tempt you to bargain and fold. For example, if you vow to chug less coffee, instead of giving it a cold shoulder, allow yourself to drink a cup of Joe at least three times in your first week. Then, reduce your caffeine dose to two cups by the second week. Before January ends, you can confidently pat yourself on the back because you’ve finally landed the zero-caffeine zone.
Also, you can keep a calendar to monitor and remind you of your progress. Once you've seen your hardwork and perseverance, it will be difficult to revert to your bad habits. Lastly, you must manage your willpower to change. You need to embed these new beauty habits in your brain so they will all come out naturally in your routine.
