Oscars 2012: Who Was The Best In Makeup? Who among the Best Actress nominees stole the show?

And the Best in Makeup goes to...

Today's Oscar's red carpet was definitely a feast for the eyes. From trying to spot Jennifer Lopez's supposed nipslip to watching in horror as Sacha Baron Cohen spilled some ash on E! host Ryan Seacrest, there was never a dull moment during the 3-hour pre-show stretch. When it came to the Best Actress nominees, the leading ladies did not disappoint. With all five ladies looking amazing in their gowns and makeup and hair right in all areas, the girls definitely pulled out all the stops. But although Meryl Streep won the statue, we want to know: Who among the Best Actress nominees stole the show?

Meryl Streep showed that ageing gracefully pays off by going easy on the makeup with just rosy blush and a glossy lip to accentuate her gold draped Lanvin.
Michelle Williams reminded us all that summer is near with her perfect dewy complexion paired with bright pink lips and cheeks.
Rooney Mara deserves my vote with her strong thick brows, full lashes and red lips. Her full fringe only made her look stronger!
Glenn Close showed me that she's still got it with natural hues and undone bob contrasting her fitted Zac Posen.
Green was definitely Viola Davis' color! I love that she matched the emerald of her dress with jewel-toned liner of the same shade. Plus showing off her natural cropped hair tied in her look together.
