DAY 3: Spot correct.

Correct your spots at night. Most spot-correcting products contain lightening agents, which means your skin is more vulnerable to the sun when you have them on. So slather on a brightening essence or serum before you hit the sheets.

During a breakout, dermatologist Dr. Michael Chua says, "If you're acne-prone, it's always best to keep 'zit-busters' on hand. These are creams or gels that contain antibiotic/anti-inflammatory properties (with active ingredients such as erythromycin or benzoyl peroxide) that shrink the pimples almost overnight upon application.
