Cult favorite beauty brand Glossier is finally hitting the international market! After finding investors to fund the brand for three years, CEO and founder Emily Weiss pens in an open letter their journey as they were able to bank $24 million in Series B funding to finance the digitally native brand.
Emily also reveals her plans of opening up a physical retail store. She says, "This cash infusion will help us see through our vision of Glossier becoming a truly global community. That means launching products in two new categories, opening permanent retail, and yes, finally going international. We'll continue to invest in new technology, because we think every woman should have the ability to be connected through her beauty knowledge, opinions, products, and routine."
They are going to branch out first to Canada and UK, and by 2018, France will be the cult beauty brand's new home! Read more about the news here.
